[ENG] The wide angle is not always the right answer! In this case, for example, the sunset sky was completely free from clouds and somewhat “boring”, so I decided to switch the wide lens in favor of a tele lens to focus the attention on the chromatic contrast between the waterfall and the warm tones of the golden hour. Those clouds that appear gloomy in this photo were actually a drop of color on a completely cyan sky!
The shot was taken in southern Iceland, near a waterfall called Bruarfoss, which has become famous (needless to say) for its waters of a surreal color to say the least! – March ’21 Iceland Photo Workshop: www.leonardopapera.com/tours/iceland-photo-workshop-eng/
