Cosmic Visitor by Vitor Ferreira

The one weekend that I dedicated myself to photograph the comet Neowise in July 18th and 19th, when the comet would be visible after sunset and the only opportunity in 6800 years! I went to one of the darkest places in Gerês-Xurês, on Saturday for the Pitões das Júnias area in Gerês that didn’t go so well due to the smoke from the fires (but I managed to take pictures) and on Sunday for the Spanish side in the Xurês north of Pitões das Junias. The comet and its tail were very visible to the naked eye and it was an unforgettable experience. “Cosmic Visitor” Specs:
