It was only a year ago but feels like an eternity. We celebrated Christmas and 2020 New Year in the Antarctic on my sailing expedition with a group of fellow photographers. It was a unique and very productive expedition, and everyone was happy with the number of great opportunities and great photos. Nothing was predicting that 2020 will bring the world to the stall. Pachyderm Pride ! by Sunil

Towering above all other land species and weighing at a staggering 6000 Kgs is the mighty African Bush Elephant bull (Loxodonta africana). The elephant’s temporal lobe (the area of the brain associated with memory) is larger and denser than that of people – hence the saying ‘elephants never forget’.
