Beautiful shadows and light pass rapidly over kings head last month as I tested out both the R5’s capabilities and the new NiSi 15mm F4 lens. Image taken with a 10 stop ND filter. If you are interested in the new NiSi lens, check out my review here : It might not be for everyone given the massive overlap of lenses out there, but it’s definitely one I will use frequently 🙂 everlookphotography.wordpress.com/2021/01/07/nisi-15mm-f4-lens-first-impressions/

Arrived early at another of the idyllic places that my country’s nature has to offer, I calmly started to prepare another sunset that would come. Looking at the sky, I felt that something extraordinary was coming, because our star was already beginning to bathe clouds and rocks with its golden tones. Yes, the Sun would transform this beautiful landscape into something unique and majestic, I thought! But, while my demand for compositions that could be up to that moment continued, I started to contemplate the row of rocks that along their way would disappear under the portentous ocean! “Where will they go,” I asked myself! Why would they risk looking for something new when they can just be here sprawled taking advantage of what they already have. With this thought, I quickly transported this incessant search for something more, to what is the path we have had in our life since we were born. And while it is true that we often find nothing special doing it, it’s even truer that this endless search for our intermittent happiness makes life even more worthy. And maybe it was this thought of mine that made the clouds join the sunset in a colourful dance! And looking at it just made me want to go running across the greenish rocks towards the sea and dive into it, thus achieving another unique moment of happiness!

Approaching a supercell thunderstorm from the west (back side) can certainly give you a different perspective! This Wyoming storm was a prolific hailer! The white and streaking core here attests to that fact! You can capture images like this too! Join us at www.silverliningtours.com !!!!
