First snow in mountains never cease to amaze me. You start to feel yourself a part of the nature, dissolving in its silence and calmness.

Last weekend I hosted another Dark Skies of Wonder astro photography workshop, along with the fantastic Mr Mark Gee. We had terrible weather all weekend but by some miracle the workshop started and ended with glorious and completely clear skies! A couple of brief but quite harsh showers did send us back to the cars but we soldiers on. Wind was an issue also but we dealt with that too. I didnt spend ,much time shooting at all, between instructing and helping people and feeling like I was about to keel over dead I managed only a handful of frames, still its a fantastic place and I’ll be going back to really shoot it another time. Thanks for looking and reading!

“Brúarfoss”
Brúarfoss is one of Iceland’s lesser known and smaller waterfalls. That’s fine with me as I find it to be one of my most beautiful falls on the island and enjoy its lack of crowds.
