French musical giant Pierre Boulez, a prolific composer and conductor who was a keen proponent of contemporary music, has died aged 90, his family said Wednesday. "For all those who knew him and who appreciated his creative energy, his artistic rigour, his openness and his generosity, his presence will remain alive and intense," the family said in a statement from the Philharmonie de Paris, which Boulez spearheaded. The world-renowned composer and virtuoso pianist, who died Tuesday in Baden-Baden, Germany, had been considered one of the most influential voices in contemporary music since the 1950s.

The sun was breaking through the high mist from time to time. I took shots with sunlight and without sunlight. They are so different – colors and atmosphere. I also changed my viepoint many times and spent more than an hour at this place. This shot i staken with no sunlight so the dark riverbed with the sparkling water is a great contrast to the orange and green tones of the surrounding. I like the fact that only two colors dominate the scene – orange and green. It adds to the silent mood of the scene. With sun the red and yellow colors came on top of orange and green. You can see this in a shot i published a few weeks ago. The low angle of this shot …as close as possible to the ground give the rocks in front another dimension. Furthermore it seems like being part of the flow of the water. Hope you like it.
