Resilience in Nature…” This is a fantastic place in Madeira Island, called Ribeira da Janela, where a water course descends from the mountains and ends right here. This has created a unique pebble beach, which is adorned by two gigantic rock formations that persistently resist the strength of the waves. I went to this place on my 2nd day in Madeira, during the 2014 trip, but light conditions were far from good. As I couldn’t let this one pass, I returned there two days later, and it was certainly worth it! Technical data: Exposure: 30 seconds Aperture: f9.5 ISO: 100 Tripod, remote shutter Manual focus 7 stop ND filter, 4 stop soft ND Grad

More than half a century after he wrote "The Sound of Silence," American singer Paul Simon says he is ready to hang up his guitar and stop making music. The folk star turned world music champion, whose US tour ends Friday, released his most recent album, "Stranger to Stranger" on June 3 to rave reviews. "It's an act of courage to let go," Simon told the newspaper.

Leave it to Japanese comedians Tomochika, Oniyakko Tsubaki, Naomi Watanabe and Shizuyo Yamasaki to show the world how to make a fantastic Ghostbusters music video. It’s a perfect mix of retro nostalgia, reboot call-outs and a healthy dose of "what the hell is going on?", set to the wonderful music of Ray Parker Jr.The best part is that it’s 100 percent Fall Out Boy-free.Enjoy.

If you follow any of the popular Korean photographers on 500px or have seen their work on the front page, you have likely seen this location before. It is a reservoir in South Korea and is a very(!) popular spot for photography here especially in the Spring. Unfortunately, I wasn’t quite lucky enough to catch a beautiful sunrise when I visited this spot in 2015 as the sun never broke through the thick clouds and haze on this particular morning so I had to make due with the calm and cool pre-dawn light seen here. If you haven’t seen shots from this location before you will likely find a few if you search here for Korea and look at the photos with the highest pulse.
