Shazam — that app you probably used to figure out who Nico & Vinz are — is getting its own game show. In a branded take on the Name That Tune formula, contestants will try and identify music quicker than the app and each other. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Beat Shazam will pit contestants against one another to see who can identify songs the fastest.

HOMEPAGE Not that famous like Reinebringen on the Lofoten Islands but not less spectacular and the ascent is not really difficult though as steep as the ascent to Reinebringen. Due to the non stop rain the days before, the climb had been slippery as hell and we had to take care not to faceplant the mud. You should not suffer from fear of heights especially not during the last part of the hike right before the summit or at least avoid the very edge, for it is over 2000ft straight down to the fjord. But at the very top of Segla mountain on Senja you will be rewarded with one of the most spectacular views throughout Scandinavia.

Music ID app Shazam gets TV qu...
Shazam, the smartphone app that can identify full songs and tracks from short clips, is at the center of a new game show ordered by US network Fox. Just like the app itself, TV show "Beat Shazam" has contestants trying to identify the name and artist or group credited for an untitled track. The episode's best contestants are then matched up against Shazam, whose consumer-grade software is available on iOS, Android, and Windows Phones, as well as Mac and Windows computers.

What didn’t look like a promising sunset at first turned into this spectacle a few minutes later, with a the sun bursting through a thunderstorm in the distance… Patience always pays off.

In summertime I am always cleaning my old libraries. Found this one dating from 2010.
One of the few times rays of light were this strong.

You may or may not remember this shot from a couple weeks back. Well, at least something similar. I have a tendency in scenes like this to slowly but surely pump up the contrast through various layers that look good one at a time but end up desensitizing me to the built up effect. Anyway, this is just something softer and less in-your-face, which I think fits this scene much better,

Shot this cruise ship off the island of Cozumel and got a bit lucky with this lone guy who decided to swim into the frame. Had a GoPro mounted on a GoDome which allows for these 50/50-above/below shots. Since I’m in the ocean there’s no perfect way to frame a shot and tripods aren’t of much use in deep waters, so I’m framing as good as I can and shooting a burst of 30 images in 3 secs – with a bit of luck 1 in 30 comes out useable. In this case 1 shot had both the ship and the fish visible – 29 didn’t. /
