Rakotz Bridge: also called Dev...
Rakotz Bridge: also called Devil’s Bridge. by Robert Schüller
The popular Saxony landmark shines in its old splendor after the general renovation. According to the vernacular, the bridge with the distinctive arch was apparently built by the devil himself. Without a doubt, however, the recently completed renovation work was carried out by the Free State of Saxony.
The filigree arched bridge together with the grotto and groups of columns and stelae is wonderfully reflected in the lake when the conditions are favorable and then forms a perfect circle. The special motif is popular with photographers from all over the world.
