We need the tonic of wildness…At the same time that we are earnest to explore and learn all things, we require that all things be mysterious and unexplorable, that land and sea be indefinitely wild, unsurveyed and unfathomed by us because unfathomable. We can never have enough of nature. (Henry David Thoreau)

If there is something I miss so much from Iceland, it is the wilderness of its highlands. I was so fascinated by those white peaks in the distance when I went there last year. Hope to go back there as soon as possible to explore more new mountains.
Hope you enjoy this image guys!
Have a great day,
-Nicola

This morning we walked on the path under the heavy rain. I felt quite cruel to take my group out of the bus in such conditions, but you never know what to expect from Patagonia weather. And truly in 10 minutes rain went away opening mountains with their incredible beauty! Join my tour in Patagonia next year at

I’ll be honest, I’m not the most technical of photographers. Having said that I always read the manual for any new piece of gear I purchase, even the washing machine even though I never touch it at home. Shooting past 30 seconds without being in Bulb mode is now possible! The Q button customisable menu is the business for quick changes on the fly. The massive sharp rear 2.36M-dot LCD touch screen tilts in any direction putting most sexy yoga instructors to shame giving me the freedom to get into any composition. The battery life is really surprising and feels like it’s popped a Viagra lasting days without a charge and once again reducing weight without compromise. Still discovering more cool features so stay tuned.
