” The Red Carpet ”...
” The Red Carpet “ by Mevludin Sejmenovic
This work has been published in Digital SLR Photography magazine UK (June 2017 edition, in section Portfolio).
Taken during a walk through Ilidža alley in Sarajevo. Walking along the path covered with leaves reminded me of a red carpet, while the sound of the leaves underfoot made me think of an audience on either side. In processing I illustrated this symbolism by creatively adjusting the colours.
Nikon D610
Nikkor AF-S 24-70mm f/2.8G ED lens

The Returned by Timothy Poulton
After a month long tour of Patagonia with some challenging conditions, I arrived home, kissed the family and set off on another adventure with my best mate Tim Donnelly in the Snowy Mountains of Australia, one of our favorite locations in the world and what we regard as the best composition for a landscape photographer. These Tors in North Ramshead are a tricky area to find and easily missed if you’ve never been before. Having captured this scene many times during every season under all conditions, I was thrilled for the great group of photographers to get a sweet sunset, Astro for most of the night and the perfect sunrise. It was made even better to find good mates Jay Daley and Craig Holloway there to join us for the evening. Using the new FujiFilm GFX50s with the 32-64mm, I captured three massive frames at 43.8×32.9mm 51.4MP for this stitched pano, affirmed my decision to switch from Nikon to Fuji.
