Join me on My Facebook Page We had been driving out of Lisbon to the south when the road led us to the coast. And I saw the ocean. And the setting sun. The colors were so beautiful! We stopped at the first place we had found I grabbed my gear and ran to the beach. Lucky me! It was Praia da Sines with these beautiful wooden stairs and the stones on the sandy beach. The first meeting was gorgeous. I knew there is more to come.

after a whole day of mist and sad wheater we where pleasantly surprised with a nice sunset, slightly covered by clouds so it made our entire day top notch!
this shot is taken at etratat and this place you can do up top and down below when the tide is right, so next time i’ll go with another tide, this place is worth it!

The Furie is the last steam-powered tugboat in The Netherlands,Safely underway,in 1916 at a shipyard in the province of Groningen, she served until well into the seventies as a tug for the paper industry in Sweden. Then she was purchased for a role in the legendary television series “Hollands Glorie”, a book by Jan de Hartog. In 1978 bought by the Foundation Hollands Glorie Maassluis and since then she sails under the Dutch flag again. Nowadays she is stationed in the old Harbor of Maassluis.
