Greenland Tours Hi guys! hope you are doing well! Here a cloudy sunset in the mountains of Peru. The conditions were actually every day like this for a week. The month of may is what they call a transition month between the rainy season and the dry season which I think creates the best conditions.
Taken with the d800e, Case CPL filter, the 14-24mm and no tripod.

Emperors New Clothes by Nathaniel Merz

After seeing this tree so often in the winter, covered in snow, it is almost awkward to see it naked like this in the warmer months. Nonetheless, it is a powerful spot for me and even on days when the weather doesn’t turn out nicely, I enjoy standing here watching the day slowly brighten to the sounds of birds awakening in the valleys. This was a particularly nice morning with some rare strong color that started well before sunrise. This is actually color that actually stretched at least 90 degrees from actual sunrise. The tree and rock was actually lit but the stronger sunrise sky happening almost behind me to the left.
