The spirit of risk gradually takes its leave. It follows the wild cries of joy and pain down the wind, through the hedgerow, growing ever fainter. What was that sound? A dog barking far off? The great white pelican also known as the eastern white pelican, rosy pelican or white pelican is a bird in the pelican family. The difficult part about capturing is geting the exposure right in the harsh mid day sun, when they come out to fly. The shadows and highlights are too much to handle and the whites get blown out easily. But the good part is that the shutter speed can be boosted to 1/3200 .
