The Beach of Quitana or Pluminero is one of the most unknown of the Asturian west coast (north of Spain), nevertheless to me is one of the most interesting, at least photographically speaking, because to bathe is not the most appropriate. Its most impressive part is to the west, where an imposing cliff and a large arch let us see the islets of Punta Percebera, a place that seems from another world. Access is somewhat complicated and must be done at low tide. I have yet to try to cross the arch, I tried a couple of times but unfortunately it is very difficult because you have to take advantage of a very low tide and the sea has to be very calm. For this image I used three long exposure shots combined in HDR, all of them shooted with a Hitech 7 stops ND filter and a LucrOit filterholder.

The beautiful Lingehaven in Gorinchem, The Netherlands. I think a place where a lot of people would like to live. To my surprise however there were quite a few of these houses for sale the last time I was there.

Even after more than 8 years of following foxes…. they still have the ability to move me deeply.
The way they seem to look right through you…. The way they keep surprising me…. The way they (so wrongly…) trust our species, even trust us with their children…. I’ve said it before and I will keep repeating it it: a more social and loving wild animal is hard to find. Even my beloved cats aren’t that sweet And still….people keep believing they are dangerous and even mean creatures. This couldn’t be further from the truth.
Foxes are so smart, sweet, funny, creative and higly social. Oh and yes, they eat animals. (Hopefefully you don’t…?)
Foxes are truly fantastic beings and it’s
