Over the years I’ve seen my fair share of Northern Lights in Iceland, Norway, Greenland, Canada and let’s not forget the lonely distant Aurora Australis in Australia and New Zealand. So why is this my first real stunner capturing this incredible phenomenon? Well, the honest truth is I was never happy with the quality that my gear was producing and I’m not one to post images that will only look good on Instagram or your mobile. I want my customers to see my work and be guaranteed it can be printed large with all the tasty detail and look amazing on the wall. Last night running my yearly tour in Iceland with only a KP 2 on the forecast the sky danced with the Northern Lights. Captured with the FujiFilm GFX50s with 5 frames this is a whopping 3 metre wide panoramic. If you’d like either of these images for the wall flick me an email for pricing.
