Classic Supercell Tornado by Derek Burdeny

Classic supercell tornado forming from wall cloud of rotating mesocyclone. Note the clear slot in the upper left of the photo indicating rear flank downdraft (RFD). Inflow tail bottom right. This tornado rapidly evolved into a multivortex tornado, then a large wedge. Follow along and see these other photos in next couple days.
