The clouds are reflected during sunrise at Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. While the icebergs that drift in these still waters are spectacular, they are a constant reminder of the need to care for our planet in the wake of climate change. Click here for more info on tours. Follow me on Instagram.

Greeting the Summer Sun by Nathaniel Merz
It was an unexpectedly decent morning a week or so ago when I was showing a friend this mountain peak. The sky opened up at the right moment and there was plenty of photo talk and near excessive amounts of freshly brewed coffee. Definitely a nice way to spend a Sunday morning.

l am interested in the way that we look at a given landscape and take possession of it in our blood and brain. None of us lives apart from the land entirely; such an isolation is unimaginable. If we are to realize and maintain our humanity, we must come to a moral comprehension of earth and air as it is perceived in the long turn of seasons and of years.
