This small canyon surprised me more than many other spots on the island: the colors, the moss and the rock formations really make it a place where you can expect to meet an elf at any moment! To complete the idyllic scene, a stream that flows right in the middle. For me one of the most suggestive locations on the island without a doubt! [ITA] Eccomi con un’altra foto dal mio viaggio estivo in Islanda (si lo so, con un po’ di ritardo..)!
Questo piccolo canyon mi ha sorpreso più di molti altri nell’isola: i colori, il muschio e le formazioni rocciose lo rendono davvero un posto dove ci si aspetta di incontrare un elfo da un momento all’altro! A completare la scena idilliaca, un torrente che vi scorre nel mezzo. Per me una delle location più suggestive dell’isola senza dubbio!

Christmas Fairy Tale in Zermatt by Venelin Venelinov

Zermatt is famed as a mountaineering and ski resort of the Swiss Alps. Until the mid-19th century, it was predominantly an agricultural community; the first and tragic ascent of the Matterhorn in 1865 was followed by a rush on the mountains surrounding the village, leading to the construction of many tourist facilities. It was quite amazing with the fresh new snow.
