GREENLAND WORKSHOP The mountains in this part of Greenland rise almost 2000meter/6500 feet above the fjord with immense walls of solid granite. It is the combination of the ice filled fjords with the vertical mountains that makes this area so special for any photographer. This photo was taken on 180mm from sea level while some clouds came in from the west.

Nest Point, Isle of Skye, Scotland by Europe Trotter
Long exposure 45 s
Neist Point is one of the most famous lighthouses in Scotland and can be found on the most westerly tip of Skye near the township of Glendale. The point is regarded as the best place on Skye to see whales, dolphins, porpoises and basking shark. The sea around the point is teeming with sea-birds including gannets, black guillemots, razorbills and shags.
The causeway at the tip of Neist Point is home to several species of rare and unusual plant, including alpine plants such as saxifrages.
