Sylt, Ellenbogen West by Peter...
Sylt, Ellenbogen West by Peter Ensrud
Want to know how I made this: See detailed how-to on my Facebook page: www.facebook.com/ensrudphotography/ So….On a two week long visit to the area my goals were to capture many of the beautiful lighthouses along the North Sea in Germany and Denmark. This lovely lighthouse is on Sylt, a popular tourist destination, and getaway for wealthy Germans living in Hamburg, like the Hamptons for New Yorkers. Beautiful coastline, and great place. I rented a bike and cruised all around the island finding locations and capturing four of the five lighthouses on the island. I spent the night out in the sand dunes capturing the Milky Way and stars overhead and getting blasted by sand and salt water. 50+ mile an hour winds. :/

Personal online lessons. I will share everything I know about natural light, composition, retouching and colors. I found my own way in retouching, you will be surprised how simple it is. All you need to know is Photoshop basics (you can be an absolute beginner). I dont use frequency separations, masks and any complicated methods. It’s really simple and very fast. Usually, it’s only 10-30 minutes of work with one photo. And the result is good enough for covers! Write me by email for personal online lessons – outofsight@mail.ru

Afternoon Rain by Edward Reese

This is an image from a four-day, Halloween weekend down around the Blue Ridge Parkway and the surrounding areas. A last minute effort to try and catch the last of the Fall colors after missing out up in NJ. Stopped at the Babcock State Park to shoot the famous Grist Mill, but as you can see, we missed the autumn colors there as well. The rain helped set up a moody shot though, and it was still a really amazing scene.

guerrinistefano@yahoo.it In one of the last autumn days without snow I had the luck to have a really beautiful sky during the golden hour. It was neither too cloudy, nor too serene! This picture was one of the last photo that I taken in that day there. The night was coming quickly and I needed almost two hours to return back to my car! Luckily no bear on the way back! 🙂 Thanks for your comments and suggestions!
