We are over three weeks in to our 5 week stay on Iceland and on to our final workshop of the season. We’ve had awesome conditions, and now the whole island is locked in heavy, deep snow. Tomorrow we’ll be back at Jokulsarlon for another three nights. This image was taken last week and I was happy to find this hole in the ice through which to frame the sunrise.

Just another shot, taken in autumn this year. I didn`t expect such an ocean of colors in this season. Ok, you know that place and the famous compositions Ole Henrik is doing there. I spent a lot of time there in October that year. The first days there was a lot of wind and longtime-exposures nearly impossible. On the last day it was completely calm and after 3 hours in the morning I returned to catch some colors again. But wow, it was so colorful for 30min. I did different shots changed the perspective often (i still uploaded those pics) – different foregrounds. But for this one I decided to take the “foreground as foreground” – mainly the cabin and it`s reflection in the water. It was very calm but after one Minute of exposure time the last movement in the water disappeared completely to get a absolute mirror feeling. PP work is not too much. RAW processing and some additional Color work for dynamic rage and some subtile glow effect, ready. Thanks for reading and your Support.
