Moonrise Over The Hague by Herman van den Berge
During this trip to The Hague there was a nice moonrise just above the skyscrapers in the distance. The original moon had a blueish halo around it and the moon was somewhat deformed ( most of the time because of the long exposure) so I edited the moon a bit to make it a smooth fit into the image.

Just back from 35 days on Iceland leading three back to back workshops – an incredible time and such diverse conditions; glorious light, blizzards and a hurricane with a top wind speed of over 165mph. This is a shot looking east from the beach at Jokulsarlon towards Hofn. A precarious spot to get this shot as the beach is really steep and the waves were thrashing in – On that morning I saw three people get knocked down by big waves – dangerous playing!

Liquid of life by Martin Krajc...

Liquid of life in the Namib desert. We did follow this thunderstorm for a few hours . The rain fall was always on our left hand side. It was great to observe it moving through the desert building a stripe of grass. After a few hours we nearly had to drive through… tough winds were coming up out of nothing and the silence of the hot desert during afternoon suddenly was gone. It was just awesome to observe the nature forces at work. Since that i know why you drive for hours through a dry landscape with no animals and suddenly there are hundreds of them…. such a thunderstorm happend exactly there 2-3 weeks ago…a miracle of life — Re-mastered version of a shot taken in March this year in the Namib desert
