CRYSTAL CAVE | Vatnajokull, Iceland | January 2016 Every winter, tourists flock to Iceland to visit the glacier ice caves. The crystal cave is one of the most popular and grandest. Every winter the cave transforms, this season proves to be the most beautiful. After 9 days of not being accessible, our group was lucky to see this winter wonder. A hole in the glacier ceiling provided a furnace where snow comes in, a huge snow cone about 7ft furnished the interior of the cave.
