Magic of light by Martin Krajc...
Magic of light by Martin Krajczy
The weather was difficult at this day last autumn. The sun did create strong contrasts but it also generated interesing color/light combinations. The one tree which already changed his color to the full extend did really pop up. My filters did help to get the contrast problem under control. So i was able to capture and develop this frame. Totally different mood compared with a frame i published a few months ago under cloudy conditions. Light changes everything. Therefore it does make sense to go to a place as often as you can under different circumstances and find out what works best and what you like most. When i was in Zingst (huge photo festival in Germany) a friend of mine asked me “Martin why do you go out to the beach again, you have been there the last few days every night. you should have captured everything”. I said to him: Come with me and i will explain you why. One hour later he didn´t ask anymore because we did have an incredible sunset and the light was really awesome…much better than the nights before. Have fun searching for the best nature places and the best light to show the beauty of them to their full extend. Take care Martin

Walton’s Tale by Jeff Lewis
A bit of a touristy spot, but after avoiding it in the bay area for a year, I had to go SOMEWHERE when the sky was about to blow up, the tide was very high, and the waves were scary huge for any beach. It’s actually a beautiful area, and I’m glad I was finally able to see and enjoy it 🙂 This is multiple exposures blended, all taken within a span of a few minutes. Camera-in-a-waterproof bag and dry-clothes-back-home kind of experience. Thanks for stopping by! Sunrise forecast powered by #escaype

My upcoming workshops:
‘Greenland
‘Dolomites
‘Tenerife I actually didn’t had any hope when I was waiting high up a mountain to capture the sunset – It was rainy, cold and completely clouded. Just when I wanted to pack up my gear a faint light became visible through the mist and became stronger as the clouds began to clear. It happened so unexpectedly and it looked so surreal it felt like some kind of dream. The contrast between light and darkness was unbelievable and I had to take multiple exposures to control the light in the digital darkroom. Some people might recognize this one which I posted before but I didn’t liked some details of the processing. There isn’t a replace option here.. so here it is again.
