Vall de Nuria by Carlos Santero
Last year I spent some times in Vall de Nuria in October. It is a short beautiful Landscpape in 2000 meters. Normaly it is a region for Wintersports.
I used 3 different exposures here and some of my blending techniques for this work. Hope you enjoy it.

www.squiver.com Mist in Deadvlei is a rare thing. In over a decade of visiting this surreal place, I’ve had mist only five times. So when it happens, you have to move fast. This was shot on the same morning as the black and white series that won me First Prize in the Travel Photographer of the Year. I’ve been here so many times, that when I saw there was mist, I knew exactly which compositions I wanted to shoot, and I managed to shoot them all within an hour or so. I was literally running from the one spot to the other, spending under ten minutes on each shot – which for me amounts to warp speed. I figured I had maybe ten more minutes to go before the mist would melt away, and I decided to set up for one more shot that I had never seen before: a 180 degree panorama in the mist. The result is a lot more cluttered than all my other Deadvlei images, but I like it quite a bit. Instead of a careful composition of a handful of trees, it shows Deadvlei as the haunted forest of the dead it actually is. The mist just puts it over the top. Hope you like it! – – – Our Namibia tours usually fill up years in advance, so we decided to add an extra one for 2017 and 2018. Those tours will be led by one of the finest landscape photographers here on 500px and beyond: Ryan Dyar. Ryan is not only a great guy to travel with, he is also a post-processing wizard, and he will show you a bunch of tricks to get the most out of your images. If you want to visit Namibia, look no further. We were the world’s first company to offer photography tours to Namibia, and there is no better organized Namibia tour out there. Also, we are still the only company that offers microlight flights over the famous Namibian sand dunes, which happens to be the best way to do aerial photography, and by far the most fun. We end the tour with a few days of serious safari in one of the best and most productive wildlife areas in Namibia – better than Etosha! If you’re interested in joining Ryan to Namibia, please check out our website for more information, images, video clips, and a very detailed tour PDF: www.squiver.com Hope to see you there! Strasbourg – La Petite France by Andreas Grund
The Petite France is the most picturesque and one of the best preserved parts of the historical centre of Strasbourg (Alsace, France). Its bridges, half-timbered houses, and winding streets make it a magnet for visitors. Single exposure during the Blue Hour time taken in May 2016.

always a treat to photograph starfish at the West Coast, usually shot during sunset we went during sunrise as well for 3 straight low tide sessions. swell charts were low, the red alert was on the east coast, but still dangerous during a rising tide as you would not know where to step once the basalt rocks become engulfed with water. this was my last shot and I had to go back in chest deep waters while waves kept coming from my back…. if I had chosen to wear a different jacket today and had not left my backpack on the shoreline, all my stuff would have been kaput.
shot with the awesome NISI V5 Filter Holder, NISI 3 Stop Soft Grad, and NISI 6 Stop ND #NISI #NISIFILTERS
