Wide version looking up at a mesocyclone minutes before a tornado formed and went through parts of Baker, Montana. One of the most dynamic storms I have ever seen. I was looking straight up watching the entire storm rotating. Amazing!

Larung Gar Buddist Institute
High in a treeless valley in China’s remote Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture lies the the largest Tibetan Buddhist school in the world. Founded in 1980, the Seda Larung Wuming Tibetan Buddhist Institute consists of a few main buildings and a tens of thousands of small dormitories built on the surrounding hillsides. At any given time, the Institute houses up to 40,000 monks and nuns who come from different schools of Tibetan Buddhism: Nyingma, Gelug, Sakya and Kagyu. Students usually take six years to complete the formal training. Higher levels of training can take 13 years.

When all you need is that perfect light.
I had to go back to this photo and apply some new stuff that I learned over the years. Well that’s how you know if Iv’e improved or not.  Amazingly I was able to properly learn the basics of landscape photography from the right people. Or else i wont have images like these to go back and experiment from. This was one of the most striking sunsets I have ever seen in my home country. With no suitable composition up top, i had to climb down that cliff and hope that no freak wave would come and sweep me off. Scary but worth it. Taken in Batangas, Philippines. Visit my website at:
