The Dying Sun by Arshad Ashraf

During Birding i have seen two beautiful times of the Nature one is the Dawn of the sun and one is the Dying of the Sun. The body language of birds at both the times are different and one will love to capture their aggression in the morning and their calm and peaceful Gesture in the Evening

Vortex by Johan Eickmeyer

This is an older shot of mine, but I decided to give it another go with the processing. The original was always just a little too cool in the WB and didn’t quite match the feeling of the scene when I was there. I warmed it up a little bit, and this is the result. Also, any suggestions on a good name for this shot? “Vortex” is a little too generic and seems to be the first title for many pools of water with a swirly. 🙂 I’m leaning towards Vortexy McVortexface. 🙂 Any feedback or name suggestions would be great! Thanks for looking, and have a great summer! (or winter depending on where you are at) www.JohanEickmeyer.com

Colmar – La Petite Venice by Andreas Grund

This part of the well preserved old town in Colmar (Alsace, France) is called “little Venice” (la Petite Venice). Not really comparable with the famous lagoon city in Italy, but of course a very pretty and lovely location. It was a really hot day with around 35° Celsius, so a stronger wind and perhaps a thunderstorm was expected in the evening. But fortunately there were only some raindrops falling and during the Blue Hour everything was calm and just perfect! There I met the 500px photographer Hannes König – it´s always a pleasure and very interesting to take pictures together with people from the community here. Single exposure taken with my Sony and a Leica lens, developed from raw in LR as usual.
