INFINITY by Yusuf Gurel

The pont de Bir-Hakeim, formerly the pont de Passy, is a bridge that crosses the Seine River in Paris, France. It connects the city’s 15th and 16th arrondissements, and passes through the île aux Cygnes. The bridge, made of steel, is the second to have stood at the site. It was constructed between 1903 and 1905, replacing an earlier bridge that had been erected in 1878. An arch bridge, it is 237 metres (777 ft) long and 24.7 metres (81 ft) wide. It was designed by the architect Jean-Camille Formigé, who also designed the Viaduc d’Austerlitz, the greenhouses of Auteuil, and the park below the Basilica of Sacré-Coeur, and restored the Roman amphitheater in Arles and the Roman theater in Orange.

A Rare Event by Ryan Stout

Lightning is so rare in Montana. I read places in Florida get 700 times as much lightning. So whenever there’s a chance I jump on it. This was during the day, so I recorded 4k video and extracted the frames after. Not only was the storm great to watch, but the light and clouds were amazing. After having been under the weather for a while, this was a great first time back out.

I’ve traveled the world & i captured thousands of images from different landscapes, but when you photograph your own country, totally different because you do it from your heart & not only eyes.
We have different type of landscape art, representational, Impressionistic & abstract. I see my country in the category of representational category cause what you see is what you get & you don’t need to add anything to the image from the artistic touch. This is the beauty itself.
Location, mount of Lebanon, Cedars of God, shot with Nikon D800 & Carl Zeiss Distagon 15mm

Mannum Falls
South Australia An interpretation of these very changeable set of cascades near Mannum. I had previously shot these falls where the flow made a good yin yang pattern. It was somewhat less of that on this occasion but downstream, to the eye, the black water did make a keyhole shape. To accentuate that in post, I had a bit of fun making that water on the left reflect itself on the right. Hope the end result does make you wonder a little ! Big thanks to the guys at Nisi Australia whose filters I continue to use to get effects like this (the exposure needed to be 1+ minute in order for the foam to take that path) [Essential Field Guide Ebook]
