“Solitude, though it may be silent as light, is like light, the mightiest of agencies; for solitude is essential to man. All men come into this world alone and leave it alone”. -Thomas De Quincey. “La soledad, si bien puede ser silenciosa como la luz, es, al igual que la luz, uno de los más poderosos agentes, pues la soledad es esencial al hombre. Todos los hombres vienen a este mundo solos y solos lo abandonan”. -Thomas De Quincey. Thanks for your visit. If you wish, you can also find my work here: Instagram | Facebook

Once in a Lifetime by Alister Benn
The expression “once in a lifetime” get thrown around quite a bit, but journeying to the east side of Everest in Tibet with Marc Adamus and 6 clients was just that. We spent 8 nights under canvas, hiking and camping at times over 17300 feet. I look at images like this and somehow struggle to believe I was there, what do they represent, will I ever go back? At the very least the images I make are powerful memories for me and hopefully expressive tools to motivate others to go to wild places and do interesting things.
