While in Norway shooting the aurora, we witnessed this beautiful scene. Two men rowing their boat in a fjord. The fantastic pattern in the water surrounding the boat is the reflection of trees and snow from the mountain across the fjord.

Have to admit I have developed a strong affection for, to my great surprise, sunrises. The ever changing colors and light are utterly fascinating – it is as if a sunrise consists of several stages. This is one of the first shots I made yesterday morning – it was still so dark I regretted not bringing my head lamp. Blend of two exposures. Tyrifjorden, Norway.
