Frosty night by Jonathan Giova...
Frosty night by Jonathan Giovannini
I propose one shot to remember a great night on the summit of Mount Catria, at a temperature of -10 ° C.
Could find a sky so clear, no fog, a bit of snow but not too much as to impede the ascent and a company with which to face the adventure … is not everyone’s days
Good Sunday to all: D

Take It In by Lizzy Gadd
A 3 year throwback… Not just one of my favourite photos, but one of my favourite life moments as well, soaking in the quiet majesty of the mountains and light all around as the sun slowly dipped down to rest for the night.

Capturing the action like this is one way to do something different shooting landscapes. It’s been a big part of what I do from the very start. This is blowing snow over a meter of clear ice on yet another different frozen lake in the Rockies this winter, just in case you were not sure what this was. It’s like water on a beach, just in -10C temperatures and 60kph winds with a slightly faster shutter speed (1/5 here, to be exact). Got some nice light too. This was actually about the tenth time I’d shot this particular scenario on this particular lake before! Also, please check out the web links to my site if you want to see these without that 500px compression junk. BETTER DISPLAY: www.marcadamus.com/photo/lenticular/

Hi Everyone! I have just updated my From Start to Finish + Pano Tutorial (now 3h15 min) with a 1h10 min demonstration how to merge photos manually with even better results than auto-merge. The photos have: – Different settings in White Balance – Different settings in Exposure – Big distortion
– Almost no overlap I have also included my ”Persevere” Raw (from start to finish) + the 2 Pano RAW files in that video! Check it out HERE This Pano was taken in Northern Norway during midnight. Some info about how I took this shot: It is a 6 shot vertical panorama which I took without tripod and I used a 0,1 shutter speed. There was no room for a tripod and I was standing in a small waterfall covering my camera with a plastic bag. My filter got more wet with each shot so I had to take the photos quickly and decided to only use a small overlap for each photo so I only needed 6 photos. Enjoy your weekend and good light!
