M I M I C by Timothy Poulton
M I M I C by Timothy Poulton
I primarily photograph panorama landscapes, capturing everything from Sunrise in Autumn Patagonia to scenic mountain vistas in the snow-white grip of winter in New Zealand. Within all of these locations, many of the scenes I photograph have one thing in common — water and reflections. Checking weather forecasts for the latest conditions in the hope of a calm day in search of reflections can be a frustrating part of photography so when you get a perfect mirrored lake in Cerro Torre, Argentina you make the most of it. Photographing reflections can be incredibly rewarding and produce stunning results so keep checking those conditions and head for calm waters.

When I stood in front of the cloud ocean in Patagonia, I just can’t believe my eyes. The ocean moved like curtain with slight breeze opening distant mountains ready to receive first rays of light. I’ve used d810 + 24-70 + breakthrough cpl filter. Join my next year Patagonia at danielkordan.com

To close the nostalgic serie from Iceland, I want to remember this beautiful wild place we found while travelling from location to another. Something I’ve never seen shot by anyone but still a very interesting and rich scenery. I found this nice S-curve in the river and decided to go for this compo at 14mm, while for the mountains in the background I did a 24mm shot for a slightly bigger perspective. Hope you enjoy it guys!
