Rotating supercell storms can have a very distinctive shape, and are referred to as “mother ships” in the storm community. This storm, on the Wyoming/South Dakota boarder has, this typical “mother ship”/”spacecraft” appearance. These are very dangerous storms, with hail, high winds, lightening and tornadoes. Everybody in this town was not hurt.

Patagonian seasons are dramatic, with each offering distinct, grand visuals. When it comes to shooting outdoor scenes in most of Patagonia, there’s no better season than Autumn. As leaves change colour, forests light up in a rainbow of reds, yellows, and oranges that are particularly inspiring. With fresh snow on the peaks of Cerro Torre, Monte Fitz Roy and Torres del Paine, it is the grandest photographic journey. Autumn colours usually peak in early May. If you’re too early, you won’t get the best colour and if you’re too late, the bare trees will kill the overall effect in a scenic shot. Like all my photographic tours, 100’s of hours go into researching locations, weather patterns, and history to get the best possible images. With only a select number of trips next year and smaller groups, now’s the time to book your place. oneofakind.photography

One of the main tools for an architectural photographer is the tilt-shift lens. However with the Nikon 19mm tilt-shift lens I was able to keep the camera level and shift the lens downwards to get more depth without having any distortion & keep the horizon straight
A single exposure at f11 which is everything is sharp & focus. Highly recommended lens if you want to do architectural photography
