Storm is Coming, Come the Bles...
Storm is Coming, Come the Blessed Madness by Ramunas K Fishermang
A final glimpse of light before a storm came and stayed for a while, with piercing rain and howling winds between the mountains. Taken during sunrise in Lofoten around 5-6 AM. I stood there for one hour taking photos of the waves. One thing I wish was more apparent here is how big the waves actually were. The wide angle lens takes away some of that impact. Photographing waves is one of my absolute favorite things in photography. No wave and no exposure is identical. Shutter speed adjustments farther change that. Processing details: two different exposures and four final blends. The most challenging part was to keep the seascape dark to go along with the dark skies and look natural. I guess you are the ones to tell me if I succeeded. Apart from exposure blending there were many smaller adjustments to bring out the details in the shadows and highlights and global contrast and white balance adjustments. I spent around two weeks of looking at this photo and adjusting bit by bit daily, till I finally felt satisfied. A creative outage, so to speak. Vision inspired by Coultes Des Ghoules, which is where the title comes from.

Hello guys, time for another image from the Dolomites. Here I wanna show you one of my latest favourites, a detail of one of my favourite peaks taken during a nice sunset. I don’t want to say anything this time, I think the image just talks for me.
Hope you enjoy it!
