Lasting Impact by Timothy Poulton

An expanse of pristine forest, 27,000 acres burned in the Torres del Paine national park. It took hundreds of firefighters to fight the blaze, which is believed to have been sparked by a camp fire. A 23-year-old Israeli was arrested on suspicion of causing the fire due to negligence. Four hundred tourists were evacuated from Torres del Paine as firefighters failed to stem the blaze. It’s amazing the impact people have on the planet, what makes for a wonderful composition is a devastating result for nature.
