Saturday evening was spent at Mølen, Stavern, Norway, with Hans Gunnar Aslaksen and Morten Eriksen who both are not only great photographers but also incredibly good company. Their images can be viewed on Instagram. Foreground is a blend of six exposures for max wave action – plus an exposure for the sky. Everything is f22. Diffraction isn’t a problem when we only have foreground rocks which all are pretty close to the lens.

One of the complicated pano images that I did, only photographers who have been on Cayan tower, they will realize how impossible stitched different exposures on a tripod from the corner of the building to frame the view from JLT until the end of the Palm. however was impossible to level my RRS tripod & I noticed a stitching error that I could not be able to fix (on the left side, part of the bridge is missing 🙂
something literally beyond the human eye view :). was impossible to merge with PS & thank you, Daniel K. Cheong, for the advice concerning the Autopano software. 12 single exposures stitched with Autopano software shot with Nikon D810 & TS 19mm
