I Smell…..Autumn! by Roeselien Raimond

Instagram | Roeselienraimond.com | Facebook One shouldn’t talk about autumn.
Autumn should be done. Shuffling through dry leaves
Wading through the mud with your boots
Avoiding falling acorns Autumn should be smelt The drizzly sweet smell of soggy moss.
The dirty-but-yet-delicious smell of wet, rotting leaves.
The almost tasty odor of leaking, drooly mushrooms Autumn should be seen Magnificent gradients, simply created by leaves, perfectly overflowing from fresh spring green to almost winter brown.
That beautiful soft light, which makes these leaves shine through the trees like early Christmas lights.
Countless mushrooms in shapes that you wouldn’t even imagine.
Some of them looking like candy, as if the candy-man discharged its stock in the forest.
And of course, all these creatures, even the ugliest birds, look like top models in an autumn decor! Autumn should be heard The restless fluttering of leaves and imminent crunching of branches during a storm.
Only to be interrupted by the thud of a pine cone, or a broken branch.
Relieved birdsong, when the autumn storms have dried.
And especially this very silent silence, just before an autumn storm blows away this years fall. Autumn should be felt I love all seasons, but autumn has this je ne sais quoi,
That magic…
Autumn has atmosphere …..
Autumn has…
…autumn is….
Nuff said!

rawson lake. kananaskis country. alberta. 30 minut … by Tanner Wendell Stewart

rawson lake. kananaskis country. alberta. 30 minutes before I took this photo I was walking on logs and fell into the lake up to my belt. Not so bad but sadly I ruined my phone… Anytime I fall into water I usually decide to embrace it and jump all the way in. This water was a bit too cold to jump fully in but I did walk around in the water up to my waist to let people get some photos of me.

The Dance at Sundown by Lizzy Gadd

Sometimes, you find yourself in the middle of nowhere, on top of a mountain, in below 0 degrees, in a dress, dancing in the snow, surrounded by bobcat paw prints, with the sunset of a lifetime going off all around you. …No? Maybe that’s just me?… Either way, such an experience is not to be soon forgotten.

Walls by Peter Coskun Nature Photography

Some of the best narrows I’ve ever walked through in Buckskin Gulch on the Utah Arizona border. The glow on these sheer walls was as intense as I’ve ever seen in a narrow canyon. Perspective is difficult to see here, but these walls are over a hundred of feet tall and the width here is probably about 15-20 feet at best. Needless to say, one feels incredibly small in these enormous canyons.
