stormy lighthouse. iceland. The wind was so strong, when the waves hit the cliffs, the mist and all the water would fly over the cliffs edge. I might as well went swimming in the storm, I was soaked. Also thank you for friends like @hbmertz for helping me find this insane location!

Precious Stones is a song recorded by Grammy nominated Mastodon.
I can’t help but being fascinated by beholding the world extended in time.
I deleted the first version of this image a few weeks back – I never quite became comfortable with the colors in that edition.

This picture was taken an evening in July on the shore of lake Braies.
A couple of lovers was sleeping in that tent, under the Milky Way. A lovely scene.

Foxes are well prepared for heavy weather, with their beautiful water-resistant fur coats and most of the time they just ignore it. But this particular blizzard was quite heavy and even the fox didn’t seem to have a ready-made scenario for this type of weather..

Incoming Tide by Marsel van Oo...
Incoming Tide by Marsel van Oosten
This image was shot on our Where Dragons Roam photo tour in China, and it’s part of a series of four images that was awarded in the One Eyeland Awards earlier this year. This traditional fisherman is paddling slowly with the incoming tide towards his nets. Twenty minutes or so later this was all water. I’ve always liked to include human figures in my landscape images to add a sense of scale and adventure, and in this region where everything looks so graphic it just works extremely well. Shot from quite a distance with my 70-200/2.8. – – – WHERE DRAGONS ROAM

The dawn of the Trolls by Marco Carotenuto
It was very windy and it was cold, I still had sleepy eyes, but in spite of everything I did not have much difficulty to recover immediately, what was about to happen I could not imagine it The rays of the sun, which had just risen, fell precisely over the ridges of the waves that, seen against the light, seemed literally to catch fire
