WHERE DRAGONS ROAM
Landscape photography tour
China >>> $1,000 LAST MINUTE DISCOUNT! <<< 19 March – 3 April 2018 (FULL)
7 – 22 April 2018 ( 4 SPACES) Tour brochure: ow.ly/Jfnw100PSro
Reservations: www.squiver.com/booking.html This image was shot from the top of the Yellow Mountain in southern Anhui province in eastern China. The landscape here is totally unique and at times mesmerizing. Most mountain landscapes are very similar in shape, but this place is in a league of its own. The combination of the countless granite peaks and the pine trees becomes truly magical when the famous Sea of Clouds appears. When it does, it’s hard to predict what’s going to happen. Sometimes the clouds are relatively stationary and the views barely change, but most often the clouds are like a living organism – moving, growing, and then disappearing again. Obviously, these are the conditions we photographers love and as the clouds move, the views and the light changes completely and you can basically keep shooting as every frame will be different. What I like most about those creeping clouds, is that they tend to crawl into every valley and thereby creating separation between the different peaks. We’re running two landscape tours this year to this amazing place and two other spectacular locations. The first tour is fully booked, but we have a few openings on the second tour from 7-22 April 2018. If you’re interested, we can now offer you a whopping $1,000 LAST MINUTE DISCOUNT! For more information on the itinerary and pricing, check out the Where Dragons Roam tour page on our website: ow.ly/X4b7100PSrQ Hope to see you there! I love puffins. They are small, round gothic birds, and their babies are called pufflings. (Caitlin Moran)

Low Tide by Dmytro Korol

Low Tide by Dmytro Korol

Beach life is not for me. While my family was chilling on Praia do Amado in Algarvel, I made some scouting around and found a stony beach with the lovely pebbles hidden in the rocks. It looked promising, so I checked the sun position in Sun Surveyor and tide schedule in Tides Charts Near Me and realized there could be a possibility for a sunset photo. When I back there in the evening I wasn’t disappointed. Low tide exposed the stone seabed with numerous pools. The soft clouds worked just amazing with the sharp texture of the stones creating together the strong leading lines to the rock. To leave the beach I had to make a little bit of climbing. Thanks to some kind people, there was a rope. It made my night climbing way easier!
