An image showing a different aesthetic approach to the extraterrestrial Hverir geothermal area in Iceland. Unlike my previous published photos from this place, this one does not feature the Icelandic midnight summer sun. It was shot in September 2015, during my first visit to this unforgettable geothermal spot. There are so many possible angles to shoot here, but this composition certainly turned into my favorite of the whole session. Technical info: Sony a7R + Zeiss 16-35mm f4 | Focal length: 16mm | Aperture: f14 | Exposure: 30 seconds | ISO: 100 | Manual focus | 7 stops full ND, 4 stops soft ND Grad Nisi | Tripod | Remote wireless shutter
