Light, light, light! by Jonathan Giovannini
One of the first shot taken during the last trip. There is a funny story behind this picture, but I do not know when I’ll tell you, i was very stupid! In any case, the light was fantastic!

Mongolian Ent by Daniel Kordan
Mongolian Ent by Daniel Kordan
We found this little place once scouting in Mongolia near Flaming cliffs. And straight away we named it “valley of walking trees”. Well, like in every fairy tale, trees become alive in the night. So we come again deep in the night to check them out! Of course the main challenge in shooting Ents is to talk them to stay still for 20 s of exposure 🙂

Sandcut by Dylan Toh & Mar...
Sandcut by Dylan Toh & Marianne Lim
Just back from a trip to BC and Washington which was all too short ! This was taken at Sandcut Beach which is halfway between Port Renfrew and Sooke. Color was going off over the distant Olympic Peninsula while staying grey over the island. Fitting the whole scene needed all of 12mm and a 10 stop Filter for the rushing clouds.
