Hope everyone starts with a wonderful week!
The picturesque Vernazz has a long history as a fishing village. Arriving at the top of the vantage point the early dawn hours, I managed to take only one shot before the lights in the village were completely turned off… Damn, !! Lucky me, the only shot is sort of OK to be a keeper. BTW, I stayed at the green house right behind the tower…
It is kind of magic to capture the first light of the day mixed with last light of the night. －－－－－

Watching Sunrise at Kings Canyon National Park, California by John S

Kings Canyon National Park is adjacent to Sequoia National Park in California’s Sierra Nevada mountains. It’s known for its huge sequoia trees, notably the gigantic General Grant Tree in Grant Grove. To the east, Cedar Grove is surrounded by towering granite canyon walls. From here, trails lead to Zumwalt Meadow along the Kings River, and to Roaring River Falls. The park is home to rattlesnakes, bears and cougars.
