GALLERIES AND WORKSHOPS: www.leonardopapera.com [ENG] This time I’m sharing a shot of one of the most famous places in the Dolomites: the Tre Cime di Lavaredo!
The weather forecasts for that evening promised thunderstorms, and since I’m terrified of lightning when I’m out in the mountains, I was in doubt until the last minute whether to take the trail or not.. But when, a little bit before sunset, I saw that the sky could open up, I hadn’t been able to resist; luckily I’d say now!
The sun, just before setting, gave me a couple of minutes of spectacular light, with fantastic contrasts between the gloomy sky and the mountains, under an annoying rain that was getting my lens wet every 10 seconds. [ITA] Questa volta vi propongo uno scatto di uno dei posti più famosi delle Dolomiti: le Tre Cime di Lavaredo! Le previsioni per quella sera promettevano temporali, e visto che ho il terrore dei temporali in montagna sono stato indeciso fino all’ultimo se iniziare il sentiero o meno.. Ma quando, a poco tempo dal tramonto, ho visto che poteva aprirsi, non ho saputo resistere; e per fortuna! Il sole prima di andarsene mi ha regalato un paio di minuti di luce spettacolare, con dei contrasti fantastici tra il cielo cupo e le montagne, sotto una leggera e fastidiosa pioggia che mi bagnava la lente.
