For me, it’s listening to music and editing images I’ve captured from the most incredible locations around the world. Hell And Heaven II by David Alvarez Velicia

Sometimes luck smiles at us and a spectacular sunset coincides in a wonderful place, this was the case of this photo. I often visit the Playa del Silencio because, in addition to being an incredible place, it is one of the few beaches in Asturias (north of Spain) that look west and allow you to capture the sunset in all its splendor, this day was one of the most impressive sunsets that I remember, with the sky staining deep red that made it look like hell itself but surrounded by a paradisiacal environment. Mix of two shots with a Laowa 12mm Zero-D, one normal exposure for the sky and a long exposure for the rest of the image taken with a Nisi 4 stops soft graduated ND filter and Haida 10 stops ND filter. Hay veces que la suerte nos sonríe y coincide una puesta de sol espectacular en un lugar maravilloso, este fue el caso de esta foto. Suelo visitar con frecuencia la Playa del Silencio porque, además de ser un lugar increíble, es de las pocas playas de Asturias que miran al oeste y permiten captar la puesta de sol en todo su esplendor, este día fue uno de los atardeceres más impresionantes que recuerdo, con el cielo tiñéndose de un rojo intenso que hacía que pareciese el mismísimo infierno pero rodeado de un entorno paradisiaco. Mezcla de dos tomas realizadas con un Laowa 12mm Zero-D, una exposición normal para el cielo y una larga exposición para el resto de la imagen utilizando, un filtro ND Nisi degradado suave de 4 pasos, y un filtro ND Haida de 10 pasos.
