Lofoten, Norway. Sept 2020. A sunset glow at the same time as visible stars and northern lights? I understand it if you believe this to be a composite image. But it is not. It is one single exposure. Being born and raised in northern Norway, I have seen more aurora borealis than I can count, but I believe that this is the first time I saw it with still a post sunset glow in the horizon. And it was stunningly beautiful.

During the workshop that I held in Venice last weekend, me and my fellow adventurers were lucky enough to witness an authentic spectacle of nature! A complete rainbow (sometimes even two were seen!) appeared during the last minutes of sunlight and the clouds took colors that didn’t seem real. We can’t help but be amazed when phenomena like this show themselves to our eyes. [ITA] Per farvela breve, uno dei tramonti più belli che abbia mai visto. Durante il workshop che ho tenuto a Venezia lo scorso weekend io con i miei compagni di avventura abbiamo avuto la fortuna di assistere ad un autentico spettacolo della natura! Un arcobaleno completo (a tratti se ne vedevano addirittura due!) si è creato proprio durante gli ultimi minuti di luce e le nuvole hanno preso dei colori che non sembravano reali. Non si può far altro che rimanere a bocca aperta quando spettacoli come questo si mostrano ai nostri occhi.
