The iconic lighthouse of the port of Viavelez was knocked down on the night of Monday, December 28 due to the force of the storm Bella. I was there taking photos a few hours before and since I was the last photographer to leave, this is one of the last photos of the lighthouse because it is the first one of the last burst I shot. I am really sad because this was one of my favorite places, I hope that they will rebuild it soon and maintain its structure to preserve one of the photographic emblems of Asturias (north of Spain). Estamos de luto en el mundo fotográfico, el faro de Viavelez, famoso por las espectacualares imágenes de las olas rompiendo contra él, no ha sobrevivido a la fuerza del temporal Bella. El faro cayó en la noche del lunes 28 de diciembre, yo estuve el domingo por la tarde y esta es una de las fotos de la última ráfaga que tiré. Como cuando marché ya no había ningún fotógrafo creo que esa ráfaga son las últimas fotos que hay del faro, aunque la verdad es que preferiría no tener estas fotos y que el faro siguiese en pie, porque me ha dado mucha tristeza su caida, era uno de mis lugares favoritos. Esperemos que lo reconstruyan adecuadamente y no perdamos uno de los emblemas fotográficos de Asturias.
