An ordinary shell by Toine van Steen

I enjoy little things, and sometimes totally unimportant things. This shell lies between a few branches and leaves. Is this correct? No, because it is a seashell that does not belong here at all. But is this important, does this have any importance? Not for me, I enjoy the shape and structure of this shell and the things around it. Little things like the structure of the twigs and leaves. For me, this is really enjoyable. Enjoy little unimportant things. You don’t have to think about it, you don’t need a high education. Just enjoy the little things. I notice that this gives me a certain rest. I don’t have to think or make a decision. I just have to look at little beautiful things. In these difficult and unpleasant times, it is an excuse for me. Don’t think for a moment, but just enjoy the beauty of a shell. And whether it belongs there or not, I continue to enjoy it. I wish you a very nice and blessed weekend. Take care of yourself and stay healthy.

That day we knew that the magic light of the magnificent Sun would be stunning. Since the beginning of the afternoon that we felt it. This Sunset seascape will be to remember we commented! And we went, as usual, together, in harmony and anxious to get to another beautifull landscape marvel and be able to be to testify what would come next! But we couldn’t imagine the reception that we would have. Our Star host did his best that day, and the place where he received us was in no way behind in beauty! It was then that being together, we separated! I quickly, without thinking, started my humming whistles that usually demonstrate how I feel inside! How much beauty is possible to have in this world and, yet, there are still those who cannot see it, I thought! And, although the magnificent Sun had already said goodbye to us that day, its radiant and orange-red or rosy light persisted in staying. Not only staying but giving even greater strength to a beautiful blue that was ingrained everywhere! I was stunned, but I would be even more when I saw on top of the imposing rock, a beautiful seagull, who, like me, was there contemplating all this beauty! It was then that I looked to the side, and there she was, my companion, my love, my life! My beloved Landscape photographer and wife! The truth is that I was alone with my thoughts but in good company!
