Lake Heron Station
New Zealand Last year we stayed on the property of Lake Heron for a beautiful 2 nights where the last of winter dropped in a nice snowfall for us. I’m hoping to get back to the mountains later this year – in Alberta! We have a bunch of free tutorials on our site which you can check out here [Free tutorials] And a recent more detailed one

www.patrickmarsonong.com Ever been to the hottest place on earth? Yup, Death Valley sizzles in summertime! It is also the lowest and driest area in North America. Last year I was lucky enough to visit DVNP’s famous Mesquite Flats Sand Dunes. Spent a couple of nights in Beatty, a nearby town and would drive each morning to catch some awesome sunrise bathing the desert valley. As soon as the sun rises from the mountains, you’ll get an unending intimate play of lines, shadows and patterns on the dunes. On my way back to the car when…. How can you resist this? Lol! Hope you like it! Feel free to share!

Port de la Bonaigua (el. 2072 m.) is a mountain pass in the Pyrenees in Catalonia, Spain. It connects Esterri d’Àneu in the comarca of Pallars Sobirà with Vielha e Mijaran in the comarca of Aran. The Baqueira-Beret ski resort is located at the top of the pass.
I do some different exposures here and blend it together (It is not one picture)

Wishes in the night.. by Fred ...
Wishes in the night.. by Fred Åge Hol
OK, I admit it. I must be a little crazy (or more than just a little, depending on who you ask;))! I had already been on this location a couple of days ago, but without the fog. I had been home for under a day and was driving towards Lofoten for more images to take. But just before arriving Svolvær in Lofoten I met the fog, thick as a wall. Suddenly all I could think of was this mountain with the fog surrounding it.. Trouble was I couldn`t be 100% sure that the fog was there too. It was a six hour drive further north (plus the two hours I had already been driving). And an hour´s walk up to the foot of the mountain. But I took the chance, and many hours later I was able to take this image as the first of many. The fog was there.. This is taken just after midnight, and a few hours later I witnessed a beautiful sunrise. Images from the sunrise I will show another time.. My FB-page
