|| SCENIC SIMPLE MOMENTS || by Bruno Soares

The morning had been chilly, intimate. A mist full of mysticism had also come along. Later, we went to a beautiful beach, which only the “Costa Vicentina” can offer us! It was drizzling, which refreshed our thoughts and accompanied our walk by the sea! The dogs ran, involved with each other, and the children, beside us asked questions that only they can ask, and all that life warmed our hearts! Closer to midday, the fog was beginning to give way to the majestic Sun! We couldn’t leave anymore, so stayed! Lying in the sand, we watched the clouds pass by while our feet mixed in the sand, unconsciously, digging small holes as if they wanted to hide from something. Together, we gave shapes to the clouds and smiled with each other’s imagination! The end of the day would come, but what we couldn’t imagine, was the surprise he had prepared for us! From one moment to the next, the feeling was that the planet decided to give us its full beauty! The Sun warmed its colours, the clouds everything would absorb, and the blue of the sky would complete the magical tones. Closer, the sea rejoiced with all this scenery and reflected it in synergy with the sand on the beach. We, open-mouthed, just watched, admiring this scenic moment!
How good it is to be able to be on this journey that is life, respecting the world around us and profiting of what Mother Nature has to give to us!

The Shepherd’s rest by Michael Gimenez Rodriguez de vera

Hello Everyone! Here is a photo taken at Sunset in the west part of the Caucasus. This place and hike were added to my original itinerary discussing with locals and travelers. It was particularly difficult to get there because I was taking Sunrise shots the same day in another location. The morning location was not close, and I was quite high in the mountains and that made me arrive and start late for this hike. I tried to drive off-road as much as possible, but the track had disappeared through the years, and it became way safer to hike up. I add to rush up to the mountain and my legs did not want to get higher because I had already done a serious hike for sunrise the same morning. Luckily, I arrived just in time for Sunset because I am stubborn as a goat for this kind of things. To get to the place I had to pass an abandoned settlement and, after a few km upward, I arrived at those huts featured in my composition. Those huts were shepherd huts in use some years ago, but they are not anymore. The shepherd used them to get to the pass which lead to the other side of the mountain. I did not get further because it was not my goal and I hike down in the dark after the shooting. The night in the middle of the mountains felt amazing after that! Cheers!
